This is a new twist on a basic yeast bread, adding in an entire bag of cranberries….have never made it like this before….had to try something different as Cranberries are the Healthy Snack of the Week, so it’ll be all kinds of items with cranberries……
Had to make something snazzy to munch on for watching the Oscars…….
Made a homemade meat sauce with plenty of garlic and onions, freshly grated peppercorns with sea salt and tomato puree. When the orecchiette was cooked almost pre-al dente, drained it and allowed it to cook for another 3 to 4 minutes in the meat sauce.
Result: mouth watering pasta in a thick tomato garlicky sauce that just made my toes curl……yum!
It doesn’t get any better than making homemade bread…..mixing herbs together, along with some freshly grated peppercorn, and a cheese bread, with asiago and parmesan cheeses.
Delicious and amazingly fragrant breads, heated up to accompany any meal.
